When you need maximum protection for your lens...

Plastic (resin) lenses become scratched through day to day use, causing poor visual quality and annoying reflections.
To make uncoated plastic lenses more
durable, you need Topaz scratch resistant coat - in our opinion the best hard coating available, giving
plastic lenses the best protection and a longer life.
Topaz is manufactured by Optical Coatings, the only optical laboratory in South Africa able to manufacture a coating as hard and as durable as Topaz coat.
Always rinse your lenses before wiping them off - most scratches are due to fine grains of grit that are ground across the surface of the lens whilst cleaning. There are excellent lens cleaners on the market, including our own anti-fog anti-static house-brand, but Sunlight dishwashing liquid is excellent for cutting oily deposits from kitchens.
